Join Susan Favale & Sal Macaro on this journey inward toward self love in the beautiful mountains of the Catskills! This itinerary has been designed to be synergistic, with each new experience building upon the foundation of where you are currently in your life. Your Self-Love Retreat will surely facilitate your deep journey of self-awareness and spiritual development. The combination of powerful modalities will inspire and transform. Your customized retreat may differ from someone else’s based on your personal goals and choice of packages. For instance several types of healing modalities will be offered such as, Sound, Quantum Touch, Reiki and Massage. A menu will be provided to choose from Yoga, Meditation, Crystal Grid Rituals and many other forms of practice.

Cottage has two bedrooms and a pullout couch plus kitchen, living room, and fireplace and is only 100 feet from the main house.

Meet Your Hosts

Susan Favale

Susan enjoyed playful movement through cheerleading and creative expression of the arts from a young age. Her artistic nature and passion for the arts prompted her to follow her heart into fashion design, attending The School of Visual Arts and The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Her creative work began with designing clothing on 7th avenue for many years before expanding into painting murals and chalkboards for businesses and local homes. Her work schedule required overseas travel during the year and it is here that she discovered the importance of quiet time, a doorway to the peace found through the practice of yoga. Susan’s explorative yoga journey began with the practice of Ashtanga Yoga and soon evolved into enrolling into her first teacher training. She is now an E-RYT and YACEP 500 hour certified teacher. Susan also holds many certifications such as, Aerial Yoga, Suspension Fitness, Barre, Acro, Reiki, Thai massage and is a certified Leadership Coach for Organizational Performance through Rutgers. Susan’s dedication to mindfulness and positive change continues with her education in massage therapy and through Ethan Nichtern’s Buddhist studies. Her joy and passion for yoga is palpable and infectious. Susan’s teaching style is creative in sequencing, bringing together asana, philosophy and mindfulness while encouraging students to break through their perceived limitations both on and off the mat. With all her experiences nothing has inspired her as much as the practice of service, for it is in those moments that she has discovered the essence of a pure life. Activism is an influential part of Susan’s life where she offers her time to organizations such as Embrace Kids Foundation, Honor Yoga Foundation, and Antonia Maria Foundation, where she is able to utilize her practices from her Y12SR and Yoga 4 Sobriety trainings. Susan has also partnered with a Partnership in Caring to raise money to build a sustainable water system in Rwanda and continues to bring awareness to the relevance of being of service. As she has discovered the many spiritual and mental benefits of this ancient practice Susan now brings yoga and mindfulness out into the community and into schools and corporations with the hope to touch as many lives as possible. Susan has lead a roundtable for the last three years at the Women’s Leadership Summit in New Jersey and continues to lead a two-hundred-hour yoga teacher training with four successful years of graduates. She leads each training as a mentor, directing potential teachers to utilize their individual inner wisdom, fostering confidence as students develop tools to inspire others. Susan ends each of her classes with gratitude, and It is through gratitude that Susan taps into the sense of inner calm and self-acceptance, while she encourages her students to do the same. “Don’t be afraid to shine, the world needs your light” – Gabby Bernstein
