Honor Yoga’s 200-Hour RYS Teacher Training Program provides a supportive environment in which you connect with your internal wisdom and authentic voice, while deepening your understanding of yoga and your practice.
We offer a comprehensive training in Honor Yoga’s Five Pillars of a Complete Practice: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and social.
Students come to Honor Yoga’s Teacher Training for different reasons but they all leave with a deeper understanding of yoga and a discovery of their own inner teacher. It is a life enhancing and transformational experience.
Honor Yoga brings together a diverse group of teachers, each with a distinct yoga style and specialty. We divided the curriculum into a series of modules, which allows for focused hours spent on each topic and offers the trainee a flexible program. The teacher training environment is welcoming to all who want to explore their yoga practice more deeply, as well as those who are already on the path to becoming a yoga teacher. You will leave this foundational training transformed!

Charity Luyben began studying Yoga in 2007 while earning her Bachelors of Art in Music Education at The College of New Jersey. Under the instruction of Mark Moliterno, professional singer and creator of YogaVoice ™, Charity discovered Yoga philosophy and posture practice as a practical technology for physical, psychological and spiritual personal transformation. In 2011, she completed her 200-hour Classical Yoga certification at the YogaLife Institute in Wayne, PA under the direction of Bob and Kristin Butera. Charity has since completed her 500-hour certification through the YogaLife Institute and The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India under the direction of Dr. Jayadeva and HansajiYogendra.
Charity teaches a variety of styles including Vinyasa, Power, Hatha and Beginner Yoga. A primary focus of Charity’s asana (posture) classes is the application of Yoga philosophy, an ancient, non-religious system for physical, mental and spiritual wellness. By incorporating this time-honored philosophy, Charity shares an enriching exploration of the Yoga practice with practical, real-life applications. A classically trained singer, Charity also brings the creative expression of the human voice to her classes through chant and sound.
