Charu’s Story

I embraced yoga at an early age as I was born and raised in India and both yoga and Ayurveda were an integral part of the lifestyle. However it got pushed aside as I pursued an MBA at an extremely competitive university. Later, arriving in America and wanting an edge in the job market, I also acquired the very tough but highly value, Professional in Human Resources Certification.Subsequently I landed several high stress jobs in the private sector which left me feeling joyless and disconnected from my values. Soon I returned to the familiarity of a yoga class and my passion for a healthy lifestyle. The benefits were immediate and profound. The asana practice made me strong and balanced. Eventually I left the corporate world and became a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. I now help people to experience, understand and embrace the wonderful teachings of yoga for their specific goals.
