Jennifer found a love a movement at the age of 4 when she started attending ballet. Dancing became a passion extending into jazz and continuing into her adult life. Always up for an adventure and believing in living life to the fullest, Jennifer has lived in several states, but will always call Philadelphia home. When her father developed Diabetes, Jennifer began to learn what she could about health and nutrition. Eventually attending The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and The Health Sciences Academy. Where her interest for Ayurveda was first sparked.
Jennifer has flirted with yoga for years, though never finding the right teacher for her. And several years ago a friend introduced her to aerial arts, which led Jennifer to find aerial yoga. After her very first class she was in love and decided to take Aerial Yoga Teacher Training at Kaya Aerial Yoga in Philadelphia, PA. After some searching, Jennifer found Banyan Yoga & Ayurveda in Elkins Park, PA and immediately clicked with the owner and began her 600hr Ayurveda & Yoga Health Counselor training in May 2015.
She continues to learn new things everyday, not only from her teachers, but from her aerial students. And looks forward to a lifetime of light and love in the yoga community she has found. Proving that her favorite quote is very much true: “Not all those who wander are lost…”
