200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

tt-header-2-compressed

Students come to Honor Yoga’s Teacher Training for different reasons, but they all leave with a deeper understanding of yoga and a discovery of their own inner teacher.

Why take Yoga Teacher Training?

  • help others through the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of yoga
  • incorporate safe and healthy challenge in your life
  • refine your asana alignment
  • bring more philosophy and meditation into your practice
  • teach right after graduating, or
learn everything needed to teach when the time feels right
  • advance your yoga journey, whether you’ve been practicing for a few years or a few weeks
  • build a strong yoga foundation to later specialize in your own style
  • take first steps towards owning a studio one day
  • deepen your love for yoga
Honor Yoga is a great place to practice, and the teacher training was more than I expected. I signed up with the intentions of deepening my practice and expanding my knowledge of yoga beyond asanas. About halfway through I realized that I wanted to share all this new information with any and everybody I encountered. I caught the teaching bug and have not looked back.

What Makes Honor Yoga Teacher Training Unique?

  • Honor Yoga Community & Network: After the program you join Honor Yoga’s network of eleven local NJ studios, with more studios opening across the nation. As we experience explosive growth, you’ll benefit from opening opportunities.
  • Proven results: Our graduates have moved on to teach weekly classes at the studio, offer workshops they created during training, manage our studios, and some have opened their own Honor Studios!
  • Accessible to all: We welcome all who want to explore their yoga practice more deeply, as well as those who are already on the path to becoming a yoga teacher.
  • Diverse teachers: Your yoga practice is a unique combination of who you are and the instructors you admire. Because each HY teacher brings years of expertise in a distinct yoga specialty, you’ll grow a well-rounded practice and find which styles suit your spirit.
  • Flexible schedule and locations: Courses are divided into a series of modules, which offers the trainee a flexible program. Trainees can take up to two years to complete training and any missed modules can be taken at other studios.
  • Comprehensive curriculum: Honor Yoga Princeton is a Yoga Alliance Approved School & Curriculum, ensuring a wide breadth of topics. The modular curriculum allows students to focus and deeply understand each topic.
It was a truly life changing experience training with Honor Yoga LLC. I'm thrilled and excited for the knowledge I gained over this training. I loved each and every single module taught; especially the anatomy and the trauma sensitive modules. We are trained and equipped with tools that help us understand and be compassionate with a student's body and mind. I highly recommend Honor Yoga LLC training program for anyone aspiring to be a yoga teacher. Namaste!

Honor Yoga provided a full and comprehensive educational experience. Cathy Madeo, our asana instructor, was outstanding in her depth of knowledge, ability to convey the principles of yoga and the intricacies of each pose, and in her focus and professionalism. The teachers who contributed in the other modules were all exceptional. Liz Alvarez was heroic in her quest to impart her vast knowledge of anatomy to our newbie minds; Evan Madeo thoughtful and patient in his sharing of yoga philosophy and other subjects. I'm confident that I was given the best training possible. I'm honored to be a graduate of this RYT-200 program!
