Fall Foliage – A Hike and Yoga Retreat – October 25th-28th

Fall in the Catskills is nothing less than mesmerizing! Daily yoga classes are complemented by eco-adventures in the Mountains! Enjoy yoga inspired hiking, and the colors of fall. Dine on delicious meals prepared by top chefs and spend crisp nights with your yoga community around the fire pit or in our the soothing hot tub under the stars!

Your Retreat Includes:

– Accommodations for 3 nights, 4 days at the beautiful Orenda Retreat Center;
– Healthy & Delicious Meals including 3 Dinners, 3 light pre-yoga breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 brunch;
– Daily Yoga and Meditation classes (6 sessions total);
– A Mountainside Yoga Hike;
– Plenty of downtime to relax, explore the towns, read a book with a mountain view, or take a relaxing dip in our pool or hot tub.

INVESTMENT: A $200 deposit will hold your space with additional payments to be scheduled at the time of registration.

Family Suite (sleeps up to 4 people) with Queen Bed in main room and sleeping loft with 2 twin beds and private bath. (2nd Floor Main House). $950. Add $250 for each additional person- up to three).

Meet Your Hosts

Maria has been making a difference in the fitness industry for decades by successfully running and revamping multiple fitness centers throughout the country. She co-created Honor Yoga whose brand encompasses eco beginner friendly yoga studios, retreats, teacher trainings, therapeutics and workplace wellness. She leads her team with unsurpassed professionalism and dedication to support the local community to create a place where people can come to Honor their mind, body and spirit. Her long-term vision is to mentor other aspiring yogis to successfully run their own Honor Yoga studios. Maria’s yoga teachings are influenced by her 25 years of teaching group fitness and yoga in addition to her 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training. Each class is taught with love, inspiration and skill.

“Embrace the Wobble!” “Smile!” If you have been in Gioia’s class you have heard this before. She believes that no matter what your age, conditioning, injuries, or limitations you can still enjoy the benefit, peace and joy that movement through yoga has to offer. Gioia Fumo has been inspiring others to move in a mindful way for decades, way back to the days of thongs and leg warmers. Gioia found peace, strength and balance on her mat from a regular yoga practice at a time of personal turmoil and change in her life. Yoga beacame the perfect compliment to her work in fitness as a Pilates and group fitness instructor. She loved being a student once again, but it took the encouragement of the loving yogis around her to continue her journey to become a yoga teacher. She brings her years of experience and diverse training to her teaching. While Gioia teaches all types of yoga she specializes in Chair, Gentle and Therapeutics as it is her calling to make yoga accessible to all.

Katie is a runner, rock climber, snowboarder and lover of the outdoors who has spent the past 23 years as a practicing yogi. Through yoga, Katie has not only been able to deepen her own sense of self-awareness and peace but has also been able to maintain the focus, discipline, flexibility and agility necessary to physically enjoy the outdoors through the activities she loves. Katie apprenticed under Michael Cremone in the Power Yoga discipline and has been teaching yoga in her home state of New Jersey and in exotic destinations world-wide ever since. As a yoga instructor, Katie’s classes include creative flows, core strength and technical poses such as inversions and arm balances. Classes are designed for all levels offering variations for novice to experienced practitioners. In addition to teaching at Honor Yoga Pennington, Katie is also Director for Honor Yoga Retreats, leading Standup Paddleboard Adventures and Yoga Retreats locally and globally.
