200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

with Jennifer Gigantino at Honor Yoga Hobokens01-ya-school-rys-200

Dates: 1/28/18-6/25/18
Every other Saturday and Sunday 1pm-8pm

Students come to Honor Yoga’s Teacher Training for different reasons but they all leave with a deeper understanding of yoga and a discovery of their own inner teacher. It is a  life enhancing and transformative experience.

Honor Yoga brings together a diverse group of teachers, each with a distinct yoga style and specialty. We divided the curriculum into a series of modules, which allows for focused hours spent on each topic and offers the trainee a flexible program. The teacher training environment is welcoming to all who want to explore their yoga practice more deeply, as well as those who are already on the path to becoming a yoga teacher.

The training is modular, and trainees can take up to two years to complete the training. Missed modules can be taken at other studios. Honor Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Approved School & Curriculum.

Meet Your Asana Lead:

Jen’s passion for the creative expression of movement led her to yoga. With a background in dance and gymnastics, she fell in love with the physical practice. She soon realized that the practice was much more than strength and flexibility. Yoga made her aware of her thoughts, words, and actions towards herself and others, ultimately leading to a mindset that forever changed the way she interacted with herself and others. With a desire to share this gift with others, she completed Hatha based training in the Saraswatti school of yoga lineage through Brahma yoga in Sea Bright NJ. Discovering a new modality of yoga, Jen also completed beginner and advanced levels of aerial teacher training in Manhattan. Jen completed her newest endeavor of teacher training in prenatal yoga through New Beginnings teacher training, after discovering the benefits of prenatal yoga and meditation in her own pregnancy. Jen is also a certified Reiki practitioner through the Usui method of Reiki. Jen aims to honor traditional teachings of yoga in her classes while adding humor, playfulness, and access for all students in her classes.
