Other volunteer activities include the Central New Jersey Alumnae Panhellenic as president, fundraising and philanthropy chair; the Sigma Kappa chapter at Rutgers University; and the PTA and Football Booster Club.

Professionally, she works at VF Corporation where she is general merchandise manager for Nautica Direct to Consumer. Kathi and her husband, Mark, own the Honor Yoga Hamilton studio. She strives to give back to her community and is grateful for opportunity to share the gift of yoga with others, especially those with the greatest need.

Lizzy Swiderski, Development and Fundraising

Lizzy originally joined the Honor Yoga Foundation in November 2016 as the Casino Night Committee chair and accepted a position on the board in May 2017. She has more than three years cumulative experience in fundraising, grant writing, and event planning at several non-profits and government agencies including Alfa Art Gallery, NJ Association of Counties, Lifting Up Camden’s Youth Outreach (L.U.C.Y), and the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association.

She has been teaching for the Honor Yoga community since November 2014 and has become an integral part of the team at the Hamilton location. She splits her time between several studios teaching intermediate and heated power classes. Her favorite asana is handstand! She also currently works as the Director of Internal Business affairs for two financial advisors at Northwestern Mutual.

Shannon Hurley, Vice President Marketing

With more than a decade of experience, she has done everything from event coordination to social media campaign management; securing press coverage to increasing brand awareness; and content creation to winning three professional awards. Anna Cook, Vice President Finance

Anna is a finance professional who is currently working as an analyst at an institution of higher education. Anna also has experience in budgeting, managing government contracts, grant writing and award management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship with a focus in Organizational Studies from Brown University.

Anna is a student at the Mansfield Honor Yoga studio and completed her 200-hour teacher training at the Hamilton location during the summer of 2015. She began practicing yoga during college, discovering that the practice was a much-needed respite from the intensity of her collegiate track and field career. Anna is thrilled to bring her expertise to the Honor Yoga Foundation, and to ultimately use yoga to increase the peace and well-being of our local communities.

Julie Bottini, Vice President Programming

Julie Bottini is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher, Yoga Philosophy Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, and Owner of Jiva Reiki School. Yoga, Reiki, and Meditation have greatly helped Julie heal from her own trauma and this sparked her passion for sharing these beautiful healing practices with others. When she was a Rutgers undergraduate student, she gave back to her community by starting and running as President of the Rutgers Yoga and Reiki Club which offered weekly yoga asana classes, Reiki Meditation, and Self Love workshops. Her passion for teaching and making yoga, meditation, and Reiki accessible to others didn’t stop there. In December 2016 Julie taught Yoga asana and Om chanting to a school for underprivileged children in Amritsar, India. This so deeply touched her heart that she started a campaign for the IVE Children of Amritsar to bring a sustainable and lasting yoga program to their school.  She continued to give back to her community by co-founding and currently running as President of The New Jersey Association of Reiki Practitioners a nonprofit dedicated to fostering a Reiki community in New Jersey by building relationships, networking, and continued education among the Reiki practitioners of New Jersey.
